Donate Today to Support End Period Poverty
Education shouldn’t be paused because of a lack of menstrual hygiene management products. In Kenya, many girls miss school due to period poverty, and this absenteeism leads to poor performance and dropping out of school, forcing them into early marriages and early childbearing, with no future socioeconomic prospects. Your support today can change this reality. Donating to our campaign will give these girls in Mandera County, Kenya the means to manage their periods safely and with dignity through improved access to menstrual hygiene products.

EDUCATE DISPLACED CHILDREN IN SOMALIA FOR A YEAR
This initiative aims to improve access to education to children displaced by drought and insecurity in Somalia. In displaced persons camps, we establish safe schools that provide nutritious meals while in school, as well as writing materials and textbooks for the children. Adolescent girls facing unique challenges, receive sanitary pads, enabling consistent school attendance. Through education, we break the cycle of poverty, empowering these resilient children to build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
JOIN THE FIGHT AGAINST PERIOD POVERTY - Mandera
This initiative aims to provide dignity kits to 3,000 vulnerable adolescent girls in local primary and secondary schools in Mandera County, Kenya. In this county, girls face significant barriers to accessing education, including period poverty. The dignity kits consist of a package of reusable sanitary pads, soap, and panties. Supporting their menstrual management will ensure that they can attend school consistently, improve their performance, and maintain their health and dignity.
TRANSFORMING LIVES WITH ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER - Mandera
This initiative aims to drill a borehole, construct a 60,000 L elevated water tank, and install a solar-powered pumping system, improving access to clean, safe drinking water to 6,360 people in Waranqara village, Mandera. This will reduce the long, risky journeys that women and girls currently face in the search of clean water, improve health outcomes, particularly for children under five, and enable girls to attend school regularly, breaking the cycle of poverty.
